My Reading So Far / 0 by 16 challenge

I'm a person who has to write down what I've done to be able to remember it for later. This isn't to say I don't remember my books but I don't always remember the details surrounding them. So we're almost half way through the year so I wanted to share my reading journey as I remember it.

January- I was doing alright and reading my way through some books I got for Christmas. I was reading mostly the 'newer' books as I got them, feeling good around this time.

February- I'm working on a book challenge by katastic as a side challenge to my of 50 books this year and the 0-16 challenge. I'm getting into audio books and feeling good about everything though a little unfocused.

March- I'm trying really hard on to buy books so I'm going to the library a LJJot to get books and my BF is getting into books too so this is saving a hello a lot of money. I'm feeling overwhelmed and I'm never going to make my tbr challenge!!!! but I'm really into graphic novels now. Win?

April- I'm slowly given into the fact that I'll never be able to read everything. Why? Why can't I read everything!!!! I'm listening to audio books and I'm feeling reading books online from the library for the first time, no late fees so far but I'm really tired of being afraid the library will charge me if I'm later reading something, which makes me Extremely anxious about reading. I'm saving a bunch of money, no more (no less) books on my TBR, and free books though.

May- I've even up on thinking I'm cheating with my reading challenge on 50 books because I've read so many graphic books and I'm just going with the flow. I'm just going to read whatever tickles my fancy at the time and not worry about it. I'm really getting into funnier books and I can't wait to start more. I want to read everything on my tbr list on my goodreads and I've tried some different by reading multiple books at a time something I never use to do.

June- The month isn't over but I want to finish all the library books I have out now and the rest of the year I'm going to just study for my nationals and read what I have at home. I'm not going to check out a book from the library, maybe just one a month will do. The only reason I'm getting them now (I'm so over the library, I have way too much to read at home) is because of the ARP they have at my local library.

I'd say this helped me look back a little at what I've done so far so I'd say I'd give it a try if you feel like looking back at your year. I'm looking forward to the rest of the year ;D
