Mystic Pizza

This was a cute and funny almost rom-com about three girls growing up in a small town that fall in love. I liked it, it was warm hearted and nice. It was good to see the growing process with all three girls. Buy, Skip, or Rent. I'd say this is a good solid rent.

The Boxtrolls

Can I just say I love stop motion. I really do, it's a real art form but this story whooa. This story wasn't strong enough to hold this animation. It had a good message but the writing just seemed a little weak in a world full of pixar and disney. I feel bad saying that but everything was there for a good movie but the writing. It had some good parts with fish and eggs sharing music together. I really liked the animation at the credits a lot. Buy, Skip, or Rent? I'd say if you love stop motion if could be a buy for the stop motion alone but it's more like a rent for over all experience.

The Color of Money

Oh my this movie made me what to be a hustler so badly. This was a great story if you ask me but I've never seen the Hustler and from what I've heard it's the better movie so that's a thing. I do love to play pool but this made me really want to play. Rent, Skip, or Buy. I'd say this is a solid rent if not a buy for the pool player in your life. Tom Cruise was super crazy in this by the way.

Romancing the Stone

I like that the main character is a novelist. I think it adds to the whole story. It was pretty funny and very 80's. There were some slower parts but over all I'd say it was a cross between the Goonies and Indiana Jones. Buy, Rent, or Skip. I'd say it's a pretty sold rent if you're into 80's cheese.

3-D Movies

So I'm back on a movie kick because 'depression'? Also other reasons but let us forget life and watch some 3-D movies shall we?

First one "Wreck-It Ralph"

I was expecting more from this movie but that being said it wasn't bad and the ending especially give me the feels. There was a twist I didn't see coming. Rent, skip, or buy I'd say personally rent because I don't really re-watch movies but it's more like a buy if you do.

Second one "Zootopia"

This was a lot more than I expected. It was funny and heart felt, with fleshed out characters. All with a good story and strong flow. Rent, Skip, or Buy. I'd say buy because it's just too good not to.

Third one "Big Hero 6"

This was a heart warming movie with an adorable main character. In fact most of the characters were well thought out. This is also one of the only kid movies I've seen that deals with lose in it's main story line as well, really good. Rent, Skip, or Buy. I'd say buy if for nothing else but the beautiful way this is pulled off.

Into the Wild

Beautiful, inspiring, and heart breaking. Personally I found a bunch of little treasures for my life in this. But the ending was devastating and may have felt pointless but it wasn't. The fact that this is based on a true story is amazing.  It's pretty much full of every emotion you can have. So rent, buy, or skip; I'd say buy.
